In order to comply with GDPR it would be useful to have a routine which allows bulk deletion of student records based on a date range. Users could enter an academic year date range ie 1st September 1995 to 31st August 1996 and the routine would delete all students with a date of birth within that range.
The academic year facility would be useful to help identify students of a certain age. Paper records are destroyed at the point of Date of Birth + 25 years regardless of what year they were in when they left so the ability to do the same with electronic records to tally with paper record destruction would be really useful.
This is available via the pink drop down. Search on students, tick the ones to be deleted, select pink drop down, select Delete Students. The search doesn't allow for an academic year date range. Is this what is being requested?
