It would be great if the we could filter the report cycles when publishing the academic reports to the Parent Portal. This would avoid selection of an incorrect report cycle when creating a report run.
The most recent report cycle on top of the list and sorted according by academic would be just right and the was to avoid selecting a past reporting cycle.

I am currently working on a project to reorder the way the reports appear in the Report Printing > Portal Publishing tab, so that the reports appear with the most recent report at the top of the list to the oldest report at the bottom of the list and showing by academic year. Would this work as a solution to your issue?
