Ability to 'multi-select' ALL reports in the Data protection module

when we create a DSAR, we often get asked to submit 'all data you hold' about an individual. In the iSAMS Data Protection module, we can add all the reports easily enough to list of documents that need to be added to a package, but to add them to a 'package', we have to individually select each one and change it's status to 'in package'.

There should be a way to select 'all' of the reports and add them 'all' to the package, rather than having to click each individual report separately...

I understand Steven, and I can image you would think that if we're doing redactions on the files, we're doing this one at a time, and so don't really need a 'bulk update' option here.

However, I'd like to invite you to consider another business case here: Schools may need to use the Data Protection module not because they are actually responding to a SAR, but because they need a way to collectively download all of a student's previous reports. Your helpdesk directs school to the Data Protection module as the way to download all of the past reports.

For example, we're in the process of deleting students from iSAMS to comply with GDPR Data Retention rules, but because some of our students are SEN, or because of outstanding legal concerns, we want to take a copy of their reports and save them elsewhere. Because some of our students will have been with us for a number of years, we are talking about needing to download potentially hundreds of reports, and having to individually change the status of each of these one-at-a-time was really time consuming when I had to do this - hence the suggestion to be able to bulk update them...

The purpose of the check and the manual change is to allow you to ensure that any redaction required has been carried out, so it provides a second review if redaction was undertaken by another person.
