Are there any plans to introduce a measure or dashboard to monitor the new national threshold referenced in the latest DfE guidance on monitoring attendance and absence which comes into force for September 2024?
t requires school to monitor (and take action) where students have had 10 or more sessions of unauthorised absence in the last 10 school weeks (this can span holidays and school years), so a student level list showing how many unauthorised sessions in the last 10 school weeks is going to be invaluable.
