Current Issue:
Self-service users of the Time and Expenses module can submit expense claims using general names such as "September 2025 expenses" and also may group multiple expenses (e.g., food, fuel) under one claim. This creates challenges for financial reporting because the total claim amount is aggregated on the expense export, while individual items within the claim may require separate adjustments or categorization.
Impact:
Lack of detailed visibility into individual expense items within a claim.
Difficulty in accurately adjusting or analysing specific expense types for reporting purposes.
Request:
Introduce functionality within expense reporting exports to provide an additional level of detail/breakdown, allowing visibility of multiple "items" (expenses) within a single expense claim to be visible on the report.
Could this enhanced reporting also apply to:
- The table under Time & Expenses > View so that all fields from the claim are represented and therefore exportable.
- Flat file exports so that they include all fields including custom fields that have been added.
