Sometimes we have to look up a name of someone when we don't actually know if they are a student, a member of staff, or a contact. Some school MIS package have a single search field where you can type in any name, hit search, and then it will give you a list of all matching people, along with some text telling you if they are a student, staff member, contact, etc. You can then click on the name and be taken to the correct record in the MIS.
Could we please replicate that functionality in ISAMS? This is ideal when we get emails from people and we have no clue who they are...
It's good if we could search any staff, contact and pupil by forename, preferred name and email address. Also, enable wild card search capability
Agreed, in my opinion iSAMS needs a search function on the Home Page for students/staff/applicants/contacts etc
