Please add the ability to remove the 'All Present' / 'All Absent' functionality from the registration screen.
It not only leads to mistakes being made, which is then a Health & Safety issue, but also means that any prepopulated data that the office staff enter regarding absences can easily be blanked by staff clicking 'All Present' and then individually setting the absent students back. As it is, it offers the potential for inaccurate registration.
I think to have the option to turn both off or separately would be better. I don't think it should be removed completely but having the option would be helpful.
This is a great idea and something I am investigating. Please would you confirm if your schools would also prefer the 'Unregistered Present/Absent' buttons to be removed? Would you prefer this as a separate option (as they are more useful) so you can decide if you want to turn off 'All Present/Absent' and separately the 'Unregistered Present/Absent' buttons?
We also would like this option for the same reasons.
