It's challenging for me to add students to Sets in Teaching Manager for KS4 and KS5, as those classes have many option blocks. There are now two options in iSAMS: go to student and add subjects or go to subject and add students. If a student is assigned to a subject, is it possible to view the other subjects in the same block. Could you add a feature where students cannot be added to other subjects in the same option block? Systems should be aware that students can choose just one subject from the block from to the way the timetable is constructed. As of now in iSAMS students can now be assigned to more than one subject from the same block, and their schedules will print these subjects at the same time. This feature would also help us to assign Arabic & Islamic Sets in an efficient way.

Curriculum Manager will be replacing Teaching Manager over the next few years. As part of the Roadmap for CM, we will be offering support for blocks which will allow users to sync Sets to blocks and blocks to period IDs. Our intention is to have a classification of block that acts as a linked set allowing you to more easily move pupils from one group of sets to another.
We are estimating work to support Blocks will begin in late 2024
