We have several prospectus puils who have same sex parents. When adding the contact the second parent is automatically called a mother. Could parents be referred to as Parent 1 and Parent 2 rather than mother and father to allow for same sex, and indeed other types, of families.
Rest assured we are aware of the issue and this is being addressed as part of the wider student contacts enhancements.

Agreed, it causes distress to some of our parents.
Surely in this day and age it would be better to refer to them as 1st Parent Contact and 2nd Parent Contact, just as in the contact creation sheet itself!
And remove the little gender picture next to the contact!
