When importing a CTF we have the option to update or not update the basic pupils of a pupil.
We need the facility to decide which files are updated. We frequently receive the CTF after the pupil has arrived in school and there is already a basic record for them. Often, with in year transfers, the pupil has changed their address since being at the previous school. If we select to update the basic details, the new address is overwritten by the information in the CTF. If we select to not update the basic details key information, like the UPN, is not updated. If there were an option to select which fields to update this would allow for better data accuracy.
