I was wondering whether it would be possible for you to look into the possibility of isams having a function which has seating plans. I feel it would be great addition as it would save a lot of time. My old school had a programme called arbor which is similar, you could create a seating plan which you just dragged the pupils into place, it then showed medical and SEN information. It was also useful for the cover teacher to see exactly where pupils sit.
