To view just the current year's transactions within each general ledger account, you need to filter by the financial year. However, this only filters the current year's transactions and does not show the brought forward balance. Currently, to view the complete year's transactions (including brought forward balances) you have to run individual reports through report manager. This is very time consuming and an inefficient work around. Brought forward balances form part of the year's transactions and should be clearly identifiable as a transaction line within the general ledger accounts. Can this please be looked into.
