It would be helpful to see emails sent by staff using the "Contact Pupils' Teachers" function on the Wizard Bar within the list of sent emails relating to a pupin in the Communication History section of Student Manager.
The icing on the cake would be to make the view filterable so that visibility of these emails could be toggled on and off in real-time to allow users to just look at emails to contacts (as at present) or include emails to staff as desired.

CPT emails can already be recorded in the Pupil's Communication History ... it is a flag in the Wizard, and this option can be defaulted to on, by using the Email Manager Control Panel applet. Click on the CPT Wizard Configuration option in the RH menu of the applet, and then on the Email Options tab, and the bottom option will dafault the CPT wizard to recording the email in the Communication History...
I agree that it is desirable that the pupil Communication History is fiterable.
