We would benefit from a quick add option in the cover module. I would have the opportunity to create an "absence" add a name and the time required. It would be great for invigilation and random duties we need to cover. It would generate a cover slip for the person getting the duty/invigilation. It would only apply for the individual dates.
Let's say medical room needs cover for an hour, i don't want to create a teaching set and then timetable slots.
It would be extremely helpful.
I have marked this feature to be considered for future development of Cover Manager.
Over the next 12 to 18 months we are planning to modernise the legacy Cover Manager module and then add additional enhancements to updated UI/UX, and this is an idea we most certainly need to include in future planning
