This would help keep the screen clear of unnecessary clutter when looking at a list of pupils.
I view iSAMS on a screen that is set up in portrait rather than landscape, so the visible width is limited. We also have several registers in Student Registers which add additional columns to that view. Because of this, when I want to work on the Former Students tab, I can't see the whole of the students' names, so I have to make the view straddle both screens, which is rather cumbersome.
Given that you can show and hide so easily via the cog for the Current Pupils and applicants, it would be great if you could also do it for Former Pupils.

Just had the following email from a colleague working at home on her laptop:
I'm trying to look at the core record for a leaver TC and the screen in former pupils seems to have changed so that you don't have a list of pupils with same surname to choose from - even if there's one, I can't seem to find the place to click to look at his record as it would have looked as a current pupil. Am I missing something?!
