Change iFinance address fields so that they match iSAMS address fields

  1. iSAMS has three address lines, but iFinance only have two

  2. In iFinance, address line 1 can be 50 characters and address line 2 can be 50 characters

  3. The synchronisation will add address line 1 from iSAMS to address line 1 in iFinance, and take address lines 2 and 3 from iSAMS and combine them with a comma (,) separating them. If this combination is more than 50 characters, it will fail.

If we are working with overseas addresses, we input the address that the parent gives us. If the address includes a building, street, block, district, county, town, province etc etc the length of the string may often be longer than iFinance will accept. Without considerable research, we don't know what to abbreviate. In a UK address, our office staff will be aware that Street can be abbreviated to St, Road to Rd, Hampshire to Hants and so on. Abbreviating a Chinese address is less straightforward. This means that our staff will need to check string lengths when they input addresses but not in a simple way. Surely something can be modified in iFinance to obviate this problem in a way which does not couse additional work for the client user?
