Dear Team,
When teachers are asking to update the grade after it was published due to the mistake and once the amendment was done, we have observed that the number of tickets received and the attendance percentage have changed. This has raised a concern, as these figures now differ from those in the originally published report. We just want to know if iSAMS can recognise and apply changes specifically to the previous term’s report only, without pulling in or recalculating data from the current/ongoing term? or can this feature be added so that we pull correct data?
Thank you in advance!
Hi,
Thanks for responding Alice, this is very likely to be the case.
Reports are setup to utilise specific date parameters, for example the start and end of the current report cycle or term, but it sounds like your report may be looking at the whole year (or cycle which may have a future end date), so going back into it after the term has finished, is then updating the attendance figures.
If you check the report, to see what range it's using, this will help you identify the cause.
Regards
Joe
Hi, Sometimes attendance is calculated for reports (depending on your template) via the start and end dates of the cycle in Reports Manager - might be worth a look?
