I hope you are well.
Following a recent parent trial session of the iSAMS Parent Portal, ahead of our official launch, I would like to share some feedback and ask for clarification on a few points raised by parents:
1.
Customised school logo
The customised school logo did not display correctly, which caused some confusion for parents. Could you please advise if this is a known issue or if additional configuration is required?
2.
Reward & Conduct notifications
Parents found notifications unclear, particularly when they have more than one child. The pop-up does not show the child’s name or reward/conduct category, and parents must select a category before viewing details.
Is it possible to display entries in a simple list (most recent first), include the child’s name and category, and apply filters if needed?
3.
Navigation / right taskbar
Several parents felt overwhelmed by the number of modules shown in the right taskbar. Is it possible to show only main sections by default (e.g. School Profile, School Life, Communication) and expand them when clicked, similar to the tablet/laptop layout?
Please let us know which of these are possible or if there are alternative solutions we should consider.
