When logging into the Parent Portal, Parents are given a splash page with options to receive notifications from certain modules. At the moment, this splash page isn't linked to the Portal setup, so Parents can select modules which aren't live in our instance. We would like to be able to have more control over the options we show parents so they match the modules which are published.
The Push Notifications Splash Page - a message about selecting notification subscription channels keeps popping up every time parents login. Can this be set to pop-up only for first time login.
We were able to hide the ones we didn't want.
If you open the Mobile & Tablet Manager Module/Notifications/Manage Push Channels and turn off of the push channels you do not want by editing the channel state to be disabled.
Absolutely! the push notifications selector should only show parents the actual modules that are active in the portal. In the screenshot we can see that all push notifications are available for parents to opt in or opt out, but many of those features are not active in the portal, so parents may be misslead.
