Deleting an Email Template SHOULD NOT delete all linked communications from the pupil's history

I have just found out that if you delete an email template that you've been using then "all emails created from that template are also removed from the pupil's Communication History". This is deeply concerning, because someone could inadvertently contravene our data retention policy.

I would like to either

• break that link, so that the template can be deleted without loss of data, or

• have an option to block deletion of any template so users are forced to archive if they no longer wish to use it.
