The following areas require the user to tell the system who they are each time they make a submission. While on the odd occasion they might be submitting something for someone else, so the ability to change the selection should remain, the lack of default population in some fields means staff/teachers have to spend time, multiple times a day, selecting themselves from a list. This adds up considerably when multiplied by the frequency and staff in a school or trust. In other wizards/areas of the system this field is pre-populated based on the user. Adding this functionality to the following areas would save vast amounts of time per day:
Daily Bulletin Wizard - Author
Detention Wizard - Teacher
Reward and Conduct Wizard (single view and grid view) - Teacher
Wellbeing Concern Wizard - Staff Member
Not something that is currently planned, however this is a good idea and will be reviewed again in due course.
I agree with this point. There are many instances where automatic default population of fields for the current user would make the experience feel far more streamlined for the user.
