Can we have a function to search students by parent surname
Some parents will have differing surnames than the student
This could be applied to Admissions Manager as well

Hi Tony,
This feature should already exist.
If you go to Pupil Manager, underneath the fields for searching by pupil forename, surname, etc. are fields for searching by contact forename and surname. Those fields should do what you want. The same search ability is available on the Former pupils tab.
For some reason, the options don't exist on the Applicants tab; however, depending upon your permissions, you can tick to Include Applicants on either the Current Pupils and Former Pupils tab.
I don't know why, but in the Admissions Manager module, searching by parent surname is on the Contacts tab. The output is a bit different, but does give a way into the applicant record.
