when a leave request is rejected, it is generally because we cannot approve it due to it not meeting the criteria. The student usually takes the leave anyway and because the leave request does not sync with iSAMS the admin team do not know.
It would be better for the leave request to either send an notification to the admin team when it is rejected or for it to show in registration manager at a rejected leave request. This would stop us chasing parents for attendance.
