ManageBac supports multiple parent/contact relationship types, including Legal Guardian and Other Guardian. However, iSAMS currently only provides five core Contact Type options under the “3rd Party Contact Type 1” mapping for ManageBac.
As a result, schools using the iSAMS–ManageBac integration cannot accurately map certain iSAMS contacts to the corresponding relationship types in ManageBac.
Requested functionality:
Allow additional iSAMS Contact Types to be selected and mapped to the relevant ManageBac relationship types.
This would allow schools to preserve more accurate contact/guardian relationship information when syncing contacts from iSAMS to ManageBac, rather than being limited to the five currently supported mappings.
