Teachers are often in a rush to start lessons so click the 'All Present' or 'Unregistered Present' buttons when taking their registers. This results in Attendance Officers not knowing students are missing for potentially hours, in the meantime a student could be hurt, kidnapped etc. It also results in House Parents not being aware there are children in their boarding houses. This can lead to students trying to sneak out of boarding houses and getting hurt doing so. In summary it is a huge safeguarding risk.
