The free school meal system made changes in summer of this year and we were wondering if these changes were going to be made in School Spider?
There are now two categories for FSM, Expanded and Targeted. Some of these children are only entitled to FSM but the other category is entitled to FSM and Pupil Premium funds. This means the category only entitled to FSM aren’t entitled to Trips cost being free.
As we can only turn on the FSM discount for all those children entitled to FSM, we’d like it that we only turn it on for the children that are entitled to Pupil Premium.
Is this something that is going to be a change on School Spider at some point or a way we can get around this?
I know we’ve been told you’re looking into adding a Pupil Premium discount like the FSM one when we joined your system.
