My mistake Deb - I was looking at the wrong login screen.. apologies! A major update to the login is planned, but that may be some time before its released. Please bear with me whilst I find out whether anything can be done in the meantime.
We do not have the view button on the PSP log in screen

Hi Debbie Can I confirm you are refering to checking your password on the login screen? If it is, Im pleased to confirm you can do this already, by clicking the eye icon on the right hand side of the password box. See below:
