Cover Manager

Teacher meetings aren't shown on cover manager.

Teachers show as available on cover manager although they have a meeting. There are regular meetings that teachers have with other teachers or parents, yet, they are placed for cover because the meetings do not show as a lesson. Please fix this.

Period Weighting in Cover Manager

Currently all covers are weighted the same, whether a 5 minute registration or a 55 minute lesson. It would help to create a fairer picture of 'load' if some periods could be scored with a different (sometimes zero) wieghting. This is how other so...

Email sent when Cover is cancelled after publication

Currently if yu cancel a cover, there is no email, so colleagues still think they have a cover to do, or there is confusion. If a cover is cancelled after publication, could an email be triggered?

Create REST API endpoints for the Cover manager module

It would be useful to allow for 3rd party services to post, put, and get information on teacher absences and room closures. This would allow for more automation in the cover assignment process after absence requests are received.

Rota cover is missing in the master timetable spreadsheet export

Rota cover does not currently appear in the Master Timetable spreadsheet exported in the Timetable Manager. So these need to be added manually to provide a true picture of staff availability and frees.

Suspending a timetable also marks rooms as free for room changes

When a timetable is suspended e.g. Y11 go on leave on exams, it marks the room allocated to their lessons as avaliable so that these show up when allocating room changes.

Ability to enter a weekly absence for a number of weeks

I need the ability to enter a member of staff absent for the same period for a number of weeks rahter than having to enter the absence infividually. Ie Monday p3 for 6 weeks.

Adding non-teaching staff specifically the librarian to the Cover Manager so we can cover her when absent.

Our students who are on reduced timetables go to the library to work. Usually this is supervised by the dedicated librarian but when she is absent, it would be useful to add her absence to the Cover Manager to allocate the staff covering her. She ...

Selecting teachers by entering their initials or surname from a drop down list

When creating an absence, it is far more time consuming to scroll down a list than it is to quickly enter staff initials or surname. Can it be made that both methods of selecting a teacher are available please.

Ability to change the default page of Cover Manager

Currently the Default cover page is set to "Pre-Prep". We don't use cover manager for Pre-Prep so would like to be able to change this to "Prep" instead
