Currently, the list of options in the “Reason for Absence” dropdown within Request General Absence is not sorted alphabetically. This makes it harder and more time‑consuming for users to find the correct absence reason, especially when the list is long.
Please could the dropdown be updated so that all absence reasons are sorted in alphabetical order?
This small usability improvement would help staff locate the appropriate option quickly and reduce the chances of selecting an incorrect reason.
Having a custom sort might be better. That way we can keep our absence reasons in a fixed order (most common reasons at the top, and grouped by category) and other properties can use A-Z sorting.
