We would like to use the Every HR platform to manage the recruitment process online from beginning to end, including allowing leadership/other staff to access a restricted view of the vacancies they are on the panel for, to help with shortlisting candidates for interview. This will likely need a new access route on the side menu, and new permissions.
Our current process requires exporting the anonymised applications separately for all candidates, and sharing those outside Every HR, to receive feedback from the recruitment panel, so HR can process the shortlisting of the candidates in Every HR for the panel, and invite the candidates for interview.
The current permissions don’t have a read-only access setting and the vacancy area is quite difficult to navigate for those not in HR. We don’t want these users to be able to edit the vacancy details, or update the responses submitted by the candidates, which is possible with the current “Edit Vacancies (Recruitment Panel)” setting. We also don’t want these users to be able to see the “Posts” tab, as this could contain sensitive information about current staff.
This might require a new recruitment panel section and new permissions. “Read-only Vacancy (Recruitment Panel viewer/approver, non-sensitive)”. A simpler page of open vacancies the user is on the recruitment panel for (or recruitment panel leader), where the list of HR-approved candidates is available for shortlisting for interview, would be perfect. Shortlisting could ultimately be managed by the recruitment panel lead (non-sensitive access), which could be influenced by all members of the panel voting. Number of votes allowed per reviewer, or ranking could be set by HR, based on number of candidates in the pool.
