Rather than only the specified 'reports to' manager having full visibility of the team, I would prefer another manager to also have the same access. This helps when I have job share managers but only one is allowed to be the line manager and have full view. The other can see nothing!
This would be very helpful for holiday approvals as well. I would like more than one person in each department to be able to approve holiday requests for that department, rather than just the assigned line manager.
