Adding this to the drop down with detailed functionality will help track this employee right, rather than just recording it in General Absence. I don't know why it isn't currently listed. Would need to contain name and age of child, disabled yes/no (flexibility to take in days/hours as well as one or two week blocks); dates requested, etc with having to keep a manual record. When someone has several children and they can take max of 4 weeks each year for each child up to 18th birthday, this function would be incredibly useful.
