Currently for a Reward & Conduct Type > Notifications can be configured to TRUE for:

    • Author

    • Awarding Teacher

    • Pastoral Tutor

    • Form Tutor (and Assistant Form Tutor)

    • Boarding/Academic House Master/Mistress

    • Year Tutor (and Assistant Year Tutor)

    • Pupil

    • a hardcoded email address (or addresses)

We'd like this list to be extended please to include "Head of Subject" and "Head of Department" so that a notification is sent to those staff members relevant to the subject/department selected by the awarding teacher in the "Department and/or Subject:" field when creating an award.

This feature is desperately needed. Teachers and departments get to see and deal with low-level behaviour before HOYs are involved and a lack of notifications makes this harder and less transparent to them.

The ability to add a subject/head of department is already available in the "Contact Pupil Teachers" function. Could this be extended to the R&W notification selectable options to include:

Send to this Student's Head of Subject

Send to this Student's Heads of Department

Send to this Student's Head of Year

Rewards and Conduct Notification to Head of Subject or Head of Department

For concerns, it would be helpful if the head of the subject or department could notify the teachers to ensure they are aware of any issues within the department.

Please can we set up an option to alert Head of Department when a behaviour is logged with the department? Thanks
