I know this has been mentioned before but it would be really useful to be able to assign multiple teachers to a single lesson. Our timetable includes a number of lessons which are taught by 2 (or more) teachers. This is not limited to games lessons but also music, drama, library lessons etc. Both teachers want the lesson to appear on their timetable. Currently our timetable represents this by having duplicate lessons in a period - each one assigned to a different teacher. This causes duplicate group issues in per lesson registration and there doesn't seem to be an elegant solution at present.
Please could this be considered as a feature?
This idea was created six years ago, has over 100 votes and is noted as a "Good Feature". Could you perhaps indicate whether you have any intention of considering adding this feature or whether we just need to forget that it is going to happen?
I have six ideas that I have put forward over two or more yeras. Five of which are "in Discovery" but none of which have materialised or progressed.
I am frequently advised to make suggestions when I don't get a solution to a problem I have raised through a support ticket, but I think you might undertsnd why I can scarcely be bothered.
We need a way of timetabling more that one teacher to a lesson. Associate teacher does not work for this.
Please timetable selected Associate Teachers, we need a solution to this.
We would also find this really helpful - we are having to "work around" this at present by building empty sets to ensure the periods appear on a teacher's timetable which feels clunky.
Basically we need to have the posibility of adding two or more teachers as the main teacher in a teaching Set. Not as an assistant teacher, but as leading teachers for that particular teaching set. More and more, schools tend to have two teachers in the same room with a teaching set.
Really need the timetable updated for the 'associated' teachers. And also their lesson commitments taken into account when looking for Free periods
