Staff often have multiple roles. For example, they may be both a Head of Year and a Personal Tutor.
Within the Rewards & Conduct module you can configure notifications to go out to staff depending upon their role. However, if a member of staff has multiple roles, they will get multiple notifications if the pupil is, say, both the staff member's tutee, as well as in the year group the teacher is head of.
It would be great if the notifications aspect was able to detect where the same email would be sent out to the same person multiple times. Apart from the nuisance aspect, receiving multiple emails can make it look like the pupil has received multiple commendations when in fact the email concerns the exact same issue.
