Thank you for your feedback. We are planning to move away from development sets in the Curriculum Manager module. Curriculum Manager will allow you to save class, pupil, and teacher allocations in historical cycles (years), enabling you to filter by previous years to view information from past sets.
In the future, there will be no need to clear your academic database, and you'll also be able to build a "future" cycle while still working in an "active" cycle.
We are also exploring ways to streamline the process of creating and managing sets, making it more sophisticated than the current system. I'll keep this idea open for further feedback, and we'll keep you updated as we get closer to releasing the Curriculum Manager module.
