Staff can benefit from using the email wizard to send bulk messages to pupils in classes, sets and custom groups, but in a school where staff are not permitted to send bulk email to parents this functionality is currently lost due to the need to entirely turn off the email process security in order to prevent them from sending to parents.
A security setting to allow sending to selected students but to deny sending to contacts for the selected pupils would improve usability and uptake of this feature.
