On the dashboard, the Register Absent tab is sorted by surname and the table does not allow sorting so teachers can't view students in their year group who are absent.
Is it possible to sort the list by year group, and by form instead of by name, so teachers can quickly view the absent student in their year group?
Additionally, is it possible to make the table sortable so the teachers can sort by Year / Form / Reason as needed?
It would be great to have this being considered, especially as now we will have to move all our teachers to the new dashboard. They all refused to move till now, as the lack of sorting is a step back to what they have currently. Year group leaders and tutors can quickly find the absent students who are only relevant for them. this will be gone once they are moved to the new Dashboard.
Similar would be useful for the other tabs of the dashboard widget too: Out of School, Off Games, Detentions, etc...
