When a teacher is archived as they have left their role, their account is added to the 'former staff' area however, you still need to remove them from the timetabled lessons in order for their name to be removed from current timetables.
I propose that, when a teacher's leaving date is set and they are moved to the 'former staff' area, that there is an option for their timetable to also be automatically removed so that it doesn't have to be done manually.
I understand that this may cause issues for others using the system so I would suggest it to be an option that can be selected when archiving a member of staff.
Our HR department work independently from us and this would a disaster, if when they moved staff to former, a teachers timetable just disappeared.
Part of my role is to maintain the timetable and having it still available means that I can move the whole thing to a new member of staff or move individual lessons amongst other staff. Sometimes it can take a bit of negotiation and time before this all happens.so I really need that timetable available to make sure I am not leaving any gaps on timetables for both staff and pupils
This would create so much more work for me and my team.
