Many schools use the Exam Manager → Entries → Candidate Entry Report when checking or distributing entry information.
Currently, when filtering by Year Group or Tutor Group, iSAMS generates a single multi-page PDF containing all students. This creates manual work when schools need separate files for distribution, storage, or integration with other systems.
Requested Improvement
Add an option to:
• Automatically split the Candidate Entry Report into individual PDFs per student
• Automatically name each file using Student ID (similar to Bulk Printing behaviour in other modules)
• Allow selection of naming format (e.g., Student ID, Admission Number, Name)
Why is this beneficial
• Removes manual PDF splitting and renaming
• Saves significant administrative time during exam seasons
• Reduces risk of human error when handling candidate data
• Aligns behaviour with existing Bulk Printing functionality in iSAMS
Example Use Case
A school filters the Candidate Entry Report by Year Group. Instead of receiving one large PDF, they receive a set of files:
