Emergency Contacts

Parents should be able to access their own information including mobile numbers , home address, emergency contacts and email address, they review it, and if there was a checkbox at the end to confirm "yes this is correct" or "no i need to make changes". It gives accountability to the parents and also visibility to the school to enable us to track who has or has not completed the form. If they select no i need changes - they automatically a form is sent to them to complete. The form is linked to iSAMS and the information is populated directly into the form.


Updating the emergency contacts annually is a laborious and manual administrative task. There must be a better way to do this. We have to do it every year and it takes months. Can the parents have visibility of their current information, and be able to amend it directly? there should be an option on the profile page with check boxes to be able to select next to the contact - for example - mother - check box / drop down option emergency contact 1, 2 or 3. Then Father, drop down emergency 2 or 3. What ever selection is made for the first one, it is then mutually exclusive for the other contacts.
