As new users creating registration times, this seems largely a duplication of information already entered in timetable period set-up. Rather than having to create 48 registration times (8 times for each of 6 days), I could have done the job in a couple of minutes with a bulk function thus:
use TT periods for register times: Y
set time before for all: 0
set time after for all : duration minus 5 mins
type: other
rule: teaching group
Friendly name : use TT Day and Period name
Also it wasn't clear to me why before and after times were required variables at all, as Support seemed to advise that the only workable entries were 0 mins before and minus 5 mins after.
